Our group is a cooperative effort of the Ashbury Square Community Watch Group and the Greater Scotswood Community Watch Group, designed to organize the neighbors in and around
the area bordered by Arkansas, Fielder, Medlin, and Mayfield Road.
The goal of the AreaWatch CWG is to foster a strong sense of
community where neighbors look out for one another. When neighbors
care and are invested in the lives of those around them, a natural
product of these relationships is a safer neighborhood for everyone.
Get to know your neighbors, watch out for them, know what vehicles
belong and when they belong, and keep an eye on each other.
Do what you can to attend a meeting of the CWG. We do our best to
provide interesting programming and an update from our police department
at every meeting.
Our meetings are scheduled through the email network and word of
mouth from neighbor to neighbor.
