Signing Meetings

SIGNING MEETINGS for the AreaWatch Gas Lease Group are here!
DATES/TIMES:
THURSDAY, APRIL 17TH, 5 PM to 8 PM
SATURDAY, APRIL 19TH, 10 AM to 2 PM
TUESDAY, APRIL 22nd, 5 PM to 8 PM
All meetings will be held at Harmony Baptist Church, 1814 W. Arkansas Ln. (just west of Fielder Rd. on the south side).
WHAT about those who attended Thursday, were not processed, and can not attend either of the remaining meetings?? What do you do? Do not fret! The Paloma reps said they are still committed to getting your lease signed and money delivered.
Here are your options:
Call Darren at the Paloma offices (817.332.4900) and he will make arrangements to help you.
Options include: a Paloma rep coming to your home to complete the transaction; arranging a meeting at their offices in downtown Ft. Worth for you to come complete the transaction; exchanging the lease through the mail- they mail to you, you sign, you send back, they verify and send check.
One further note:
I did speak to the supervisor of the Paloma group, and he said that the check writing process does take longer and is more difficult for them to do. I am, however, glad we did it this way. There were 85 families who walked out the first night with a real check that was cashable immediately (we cashed/deposited ours this morning with no problem at our bank), whereas other groups in town waited long periods of time between lease signing and receiving real money. My parents were in the SWAPO group in southwest Arlington, and although they signed their lease in late January, they received a draft at signing and did not receive real money until just two weeks ago! Our process is slow, but it is not going to take 2 1/2 months to get real money.
